The Apartment is beautifully furnished with a 6 piece set of iroko (like teak) furniture in the large (25 sqm) living room (with dining area) and hand-painted ceramic tiles. There are 2 double bedrooms.
The teenage Picasso had his first studio in Plata Street, a 2 minute walk turning right on leaving the Apartment, and the Picasso Museum is a 5 minute walk further on, past dozens of cafes and restaurants. Admire along the way the architecture, the narrow medieval streets, the curio shops, cafes and workshops, and above all, everyone favourite Barcelona church, Santa María del Mar. Continue on for another 5 minutes and you are in the Park of the Ciutadella, with its gardens, lakes, museums, zoo, waterfall and the Catalan Parliament (used as a military garrison during the dictatorship, but now thankfully restored to its former glory). If you turn left on leaving the Apartment you will be at Port Vell (Old Port) in 1 minute. The Passeig Colom (Columbus Promenade), the boardwalk, Maremagnum with the Aquarium (one of the largest in Europe), the IMAX cinema, beautiful new restaurants and shops are literally at your fingertips. The famous Ramblas with its street theater and beautiful buildings is a 3 minute walk from the Apartment. Walk another 10 minutes and you arrive at the Plaza Catalunya, then Passeig de Gracia, the premier shopping district in Barcelona, the "Fifth Avenue" of Barcelona. Explore the Cathedral and Gothic Quarters on the right with their narrow medieval streets.
The modern world no longer builds this type of stone building. It would be far too expensive. Take advantage of this opportunity.

Policies:
BOOKING payment to hold reservation is 25% of the bill.
The rest of the rent (75% of the bill) is due on arrival.
There is a surcharge for special events if apply.
We have a 55 one time cleaning fee
